Central Sardinia: Barbagia and the mountains

(3 days / 2 nights, from Olbia airport)

Folk museum, Nobel winner Grazia Deledda's house, winery, murales, mask museum, traditional food in the country.

Day 1: Olbia / Nuoro

Arrival in Olbia and pick-up the rental car at the airport. Departure to Nuoro. Lunch at leisure. Visit the Folk Museum and the house of Grazia Deledda, Literature Nobel Prize winner in 1926. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Nuoro / Oliena / Orgosolo / Mamoiada

Breakfast. Visit of a winery. Continue to Orgosolo the murales town, where traditional style paintings decorate the houses. Typical shepherd lunch in the countryside. In the afternoon visit Mamoiada and the Museum of Sardinian masks. Back to Nuoro; dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Nuoro / Olbia

After breakfast, drive back to Olbia. Return the rental car at the airport before departure.
