South-East of Sardinia: Gerrei

Winery, copper and weaving musem, nuraghe, menhirs, traditional lunch

Day 1: Cagliari / Orroli

Arrive in Cagliari and pick-up the rental car at the airport. Departure to Orroli with a stop along the way to visit a winery. Lunch at leisure. Optional visit of the Museum of copper and weaving, near Orroli. Dinner and overnight in a traditional Sardinian house, completely renovated.

Day 2: Orroli / Sadali / Orroli

Breakfast and then visit the Nuraghe Arrubiu, one of the most important remains of the prehistoric period in Sardinia. Lunch in a farm. In the afternoon, visit Is Janas caves. Back to Orroli. Dinner and overnight in a traditional Sardinian house.

Day 3: Orroli/ Goni/ Cagliari

Breakfast. Visit of Pranu Mutteddu, a megalithic complex with several menhirs and tombs. Lunch at leasure. Continue to Cagliari. Return the rental car at the airport before departure.

Rates include:

• two overnights in a typical Sardinian house or 3 star hotel, double room;
• half board accomodation, plus one traditional lunch (see program);
• B group car, unlimited mileage.
